SMS Terms and Conditions

Oregon Trail Recovery ("OTR," "we," "us," or "our") offers text messaging (SMS) communications to current and prospective clients as part of our customer care services. By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions.

1. Program Description

Our SMS program is used for customer care purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Scheduling and reminders for intake and other appointments
  • Check-ins and support messages following completion of services
  • General account or service-related communications

Message content will relate solely to the services described above. We do not send marketing or promotional messages from unrelated third parties through this program.

2. How You Opt In

You may consent to receive SMS messages from Oregon Trail Recovery through one or more of the following methods:

  • Completing a web form on our website or client portal that includes an unchecked SMS consent checkbox
  • Providing verbal consent to a staff member, such as during a scheduling call
  • Completing a paper intake or registration form that includes SMS consent language

In all cases, consent is affirmative and is not assumed or pre-selected on your behalf. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving any services from Oregon Trail Recovery.

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan. Contact your carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message you receive from us. After you opt out, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You may opt back in at any time by replying START, or by re-consenting through one of the opt-in methods described above.

7. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is available on most major US wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Coverage and message delivery may vary.

8. Privacy

Your mobile phone number and any information collected in connection with our SMS program are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at oregontrailrecovery.com/privacy-policy. We do not share or sell your mobile number or opt-in status to third parties for their own marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at this page, and continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
